About Rachel

Hi, I’m Rachel, the editor behind Full Spectrum Editorial.

As a late diagnosed neurodivergent individual, I’ve come to appreciate how my neurotype informs every interaction I have with the world.

I bring this awareness and acceptance to my clients and to their writing, because we all deserve safe and nurturing spaces, regardless of neurotype.

Who am I?

I carry many identities: I’m an editor, a creative, an amateur historian, a baker, a traveller, an adventurer, an entrepreneur, a student, a seeker, a patient, an immigrant, a mother, a wife.

Though I am a native Californian living in the Netherlands, my clients come from around the world. I am comfortable editing various forms of English (American, British, Canadian, Australian), as well as English as a foreign language.

Check out my blog for deep-dives on some of my favorite hyperfixations.

How I edit

My editing style is collaborative, conversational, and respectful.

My goal is to help you create a document that communicates your message to the world in a way that feels authentic to you.

I also enjoy helping writers build awareness of how they write by flagging patterns in language, usage, and style.

My qualifications

Certificate in Copyediting, UC San Diego Extended Studies

BA in History, with a focus on the Ancient Mediterranean; with honors, UC Berkeley

I am a real editor and I do 100% of my own work; I never use AI to read, edit, or summarize a document. All of my services are 100% AI-free.
